DNA tests dispel FAU students’ notions of where they came from

There was an interesting article in the Sun-Sentinel today about an art professor at FAU. He asked his student to take DNA tests to determine their genetic makeup. Most of the results were surprising. In many cases there was genetic material from parts of the world that the students had no knowledge of being in their family history. In fewer instances, students were missing genes from places they thought their ancestors were from.
