My first publication has been accepted to the 44th ACM Southeast Conference! It was written with my advisor, Dr. Oge Marques and our colleagues, Gustavo Borba and Dr. Humberto Gamba. The title is “Using visual attention to extract regions of interest in the context of image retrieval” (#60).
There is now a list of recent and random posts (some nearly 4 years old) in the sidebar. The “Features” module has been removed and replaced with links at the top-right of each page.
Hopefully there won’t be as much spam this time…
I’ve made some changes to the design of the site. Site navigation links are now listed horizontally at the top of the page, along with the search box. The page background has changed. Page layout graphics are all dynamically generated.
I’ve added a list of songs I’ve recently played in iTunes to the sidebar. I’m still experimenting with the design. Clicking on a song opens iTunes where you can listen to a sample clip.
