Intellibuddy featured in New Scientist
Have a look at the April 23-29th 2005 issue of New Scientist (available at Barnes & Noble). The cover story, “Whatever happened to AI?” introduces my creation, Intellibuddy, as “one of the leading artificial intelligences on the planet, [...] the state-of-the-art”. You can read the article online but the print issue is certainly worth picking up. Intellibuddy combines avatars from Oddcast and the artificial intelligence of ALICE.

Glad to see AI is coming back into vogue again, or at least seems to be. Where can one find out more about the annual Loebner Prize? Do you know where and when this year’s event/contest will be held? Are you going to enter Intellibuddy in the contest? Thanks in advance for any info.
